Personal profile

Research interests

Dr. Lladser develops lines of research of interest and global relevance focused on the study of the molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie an effective antitumor immune response mediated by T lymphocytes. His research focuses on the characterization of antitumor T lymphocytes, both in animal models, such as human tumors, through phenotypic (multiparametric flow cytometry) and transcriptomic analyzes (RNAseq, scRNAseq, scTCRseq), as well as in vitro and in vivo functional assays.

Personal profile

Dr. Lladser is a Biochemist and Doctor in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Chile. Subsequently, he completed his postdoctoral research at the Karolinska Cancer Center of the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. Later he returned to Chile to direct the Immunoncology Laboratory of the Science & Life and more recently Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine and Science of the San Sebastián University. Dr. Lladser is Principal Investigator of the Basal Science & Vida (FB210008), from a FONDECYT Regular project (1212070) and from a collaborative project with the British biotechnology company Achilles Therapeutics, in addition to other projects as a co-investigator.

Teaching

Dr. Lladser is a professor on the academic faculty of the Doctorates in Biotechnology and in Immunology and Microbiology at the San Sebastián University. In addition, he participates in the Doctorate in Cell Biology and Biomedicine at the same university. Dr. Lladser teaches immunology and antitumor immunotherapy in these programs and other undergraduate and graduate programs at different universities (University of Chile, Universidad del Desarrollo, Universidad Austral de Chile, Universidad de la Frontera, among others).
