Research interests

His research focuses on histone metabolism, focusing on examining the process by which histones mature after they are synthesized. It also studies how their post-translational modifications begin to be established after their synthesis, and how these modifications regulate the function of histones and the structuring of chromatin. Likewise, it studies the regulation of gene expression of the Hepatitis B virus mediated by histones.
