The research group of the School of Economics and Government promotes the generation of knowledge on topics of national interest, in addition to those related to the academic training schools: Business and Government. Additionally, it seeks to develop science-based public policy proposals that deliver social value, both in the public and private spheres, creating applied knowledge for the development of industry, markets and inclusive economic growth.
The promotion of knowledge, the improvement of undergraduate and graduate teaching and the transfer of knowledge to students are the cross-cutting axes of the team, where the main research focuses - within the framework of the Faculty's strategy - are oriented towards the following topics:
- Public Policies.
- Management.
- Marketing.
- Data Science.
The Faculty's research projects aim to strengthen the generation of cutting-edge knowledge to contribute to both economic development and public debate, so they are developed on the basis of sustainable development and with international quality standards.
At present, the faculty dedicated to research at the business school is developing studies in the following areas:
- Pension economics.
- Industrial organization of urban transportation.
- Economics of natural resources and the environment.

The School of Government develops research in:

The CPP represents an instance of collaboration with research and teaching of the Faculty, generating products that can be considered as key inputs for the development of scientific research in areas such as:
- Elaboration of economic indicators.
- Application and analysis of surveys.
