    L. Felipe Barros, marshal-institute, Physician-surgeon and Doctor of Sciences from the University of Chile, thesis supervised by David Yudilevich. He was a Wellcome Trust Postdoctoral Fellow in Steve Baldwin's laboratory in Leeds, United Kingdom, and returned as an academic to the University of Chile in 1996. He joined the Center for Scientific Studies in Valdivia in 2000 and the San Sebastián University in 2022.

    Teacher of Physiology and Pathophysiology Courses, USS Medicine Course. Member of the USS Doctorate in Chronic Diseases Faculty. Teaching in various postgraduate courses USS, Uach, UChile, PUC, etc. Uach doctoral thesis supervision. Teaching in International Postgraduate Courses ISN, Cajal, NSAS and others.
