Personal profile
Dr. Mokhtar Aly (Senior Member, IEEE) received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt, in 2007, and 2012 respectively and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan in 2017. In 2008, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Aswan University, as Assistant Lecturer, where he has been Assistant Professor with Faculty of Engineering, since 2017. He worked as Postdoctoral Researcher with Solar Energy Research Center (SERC-Chile), UTFSM, Chile from March 2019 to June 2021. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Universidad San Sebastián, Santiago, Chile since July 2021.
Teaching
Dr. Mokhtar Aly, has a teaching experience since 2008 (Aswan University, Egypt - Universidad San Sebastián, Chile). He teaches at USS (español) Plan Común, Ingeniería en Energía y Sustentabilidad Ambiental) Tecnologías Convencionales de Generación Energética, Energias Renovales No Convencionales, Negocios en Energía y Medioambiente, Taller Sistemas eléctricas, Electricidad y Magnetismo, Laboratorio Electricidad y Magnetismo, Postgraduate courses (Industrial Electronics, Photovoltaic Systems and control, Advanced Power Electronics), undergraduate courses, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Electrical Circuits, Electromagnetic Field, Electrical Materials, Electric and Electronic Measurements, Electric Machines, Electrical Testing, Fundamentals of Power Electronics, Energy Conversion and Utilization, Motor Drives, Digital Control, Power System Protection.
