    Graduate in History from the Pontifical University of Chile; Master in History from the Pontifical University of Chile, and Doctor in Latin American Studies, International Relations Mention, from the University of Santiago de Chile. Specialist in the history of international relations and political history of the mid-20th century in Chile. Since 2009 he has been a Professor at the San Sebastián University and is co-author of the History of Chile 1960-2010 project.
