    Maichel M. Aguayo, PhD, is an Industrial Engineer and holds a PhD in Industrial and System Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA. Dr. Aguayo has vast experience in higher education, both in undergraduate and graduate activities. He has publications in important journals in the field and has been a lead researcher in research projects. Dr. Aguayo is also the founder of the technology-based startup Appslogistics SPA, which develops technological solutions to optimize forestry transportation in Chile
