    Basic and applied epidemiology, public health, preventive veterinary medicine, zoonotic diseases, domestic canine and feline diseases, validation of diagnostic tests, meta-analysis, systematic reviews. The main research line covers epidemiology and public health through cross-sectional or prevalence studies on leptospirosis and other infectious diseases, systematic reviews and meta-analyses in the area of epidemiology, specifically in companion animal zoonoses
