Resumen

The Bolshevik Revolution profoundly shook the revolutionary working class in Chile. The positions had to be clear and blunt: Either you were with Russia or against Russia. There was no space for ambiguity or half measures. The communist and anarchist media implemented various strategies to spread the Soviet reality, either to express their support for Bolshevism or to condemn "Soviet terror". For the communists, the Soviet regime represented the glorious dawn of the New Humanity; for the acrats, a "nefarious tyranny". The differences between one and the other they made it clear that the Bolshevik Revolution did not leave indifferent the leftist organizations, who made the debate around Red Russia the central axis of their political militancy.
