Resumen
Healthcare professionals play an essential role accompanying the development and growthofchildren andadolescents, which includes menstrual health education. Considering this, the project for Link with the Environment called “Juntos Crecemos Contigo” (“Together we grow with you”) was created by the University of San Sebastián, which provides for the training of Nursing students as Menstrual Health Promoters by the Malva Miranda Foundation. One year after conducting this activity, the students answered a survey about their experience, and 80% stated that it was an incentive for acquiring knowledge on menstrual health; while 85.7% pointed out that this type of participative methodology allowedthem to acquire andtransfer new knowledge as part of their professional training. Results show that this is an innovative methodology, highly effective, and which strengthens the promotion of integrated health in boys and girls.
