Abstract

In the privileges of Toledo we can appreciate the political genius of Alfonso VI and the way of establishing jurisdiction over different kinds of populations. The maintenance of the autonomies of Moors, Christians and Jews managed to make society in its own dynamics move from coexistence to connivance, and this has been recorded in the legislative efforts of the monarchy.
