Research interests focus on sustainability, innovation, and business strategy in emerging economies, with an emphasis on how institutional dynamics such as corruption, crime, the informal economy, and environmental regulations affect strategic decision making, particularly in family firms. The research has been published in high-impact indexed journals and aims to contribute both to theoretical development and to the formulation of practical solutions for organizations operating in institutionally challenging environments.
Personal profile
PhD in Business Economics, with academic training in Industrial Engineering and Chemical Engineering. His research focuses on sustainability, innovation, and business strategies within complex institutional contexts in emerging economies. He has published in high-impact academic journals and has teaching experience in Peru and Chile. He has received research grants and international fellowships, including the Leader in Innovation Fellowship from the United Kingdom. His work contributes to the understanding of phenomena such as the informal economy, corruption, and crime in strategic business decision-making.
Teaching
Teaching is carried out in the areas of Strategy, Management Control, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation. Academic work is centered on business strategy, integrating knowledge derived from research on sustainability, innovation, and institutional dynamics in emerging economies.
