Dr. Sandra Rojas Azócar, Ph.D., is a Speech Pathologist graduated from the University of Talca with more than 14 years of experience in the voice area (clinical and academic), Doctorate in Health Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia, with a Master's Degree in Language and Speech Disorders from the University of Talca. Currently Research Academic at the San Sebastián University, Santiago since March 2022; Adjunct Academic, Federation University, Melbourne; Adjunct Academic, The University of Canberra, Australia; Adjunct Academic La Trobe University, Australia; accredited in LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Therapy); member of the Laryngology Society of Australasia, advisory member of the Ibero-American League of Vocal Pedagogy (LIPV); Peer-reviewer in various scientific research journals. In 2014, he was awarded the Becas Chile Doctoral Scholarship Abroad, which allowed the development of the doctoral research project, completed and awarded in 2020. His research and publications have been focused on voice aging, neurodegenerative diseases, training vocal, and singing voice.
