    Research interests

    His fundamental line of research is with visible and infrared imaging systems using hyperspectral and microscopic plenoptic technology. In applied science, he has used systems that combine artificial vision together with hyperspectral fingerprints to solve industrial problems in areas such as mining, beekeeping and aquaculture.

    Pablo Coelho Caro was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1975. He received a bachelor's degree in physical sciences, a master's degree and a doctorate in engineering sciences with a mention in electrical engineering from the University of Concepción, Chile, in 2005, 2012 and 2016, respectively. . He is currently an assistant professor at the San Sebastián University, where he actively participates in research projects and works as an undergraduate and graduate teacher. His research area is artificial vision applied to problems in different industrial areas.

    Teaching

    Pablo Coelho Caro is a professor of Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism for the common undergraduate engineering plan. In the Master in Innovation in Biosciences and Bioengineering, he teaches the subjects of scientific hardware software prototype design and digital image processing, which are directly related to his research area. In the Doctorate program in Computational Biology he has participated in the project formulation subject, sharing his experience in awarding fundamental and applied research projects.
