    Research interests

    The current line of research, begun in 2011, focuses on the analysis of the work of the Inter-American Court within the Inter-American Human Rights System. The above has given rise to 26 publications, both in collective books and specialized magazines from several countries in North and South America and attendance at more than 30 presentations and communications at conferences and seminars in America and Europe.

    Part-time professor at the Universidad Católica de Chile (1994-1995 and 1998), Gabriela Mistral and Los Andes (1998) in Santiago, and Universidad del Desarrollo (2002-2011), Las Américas (2005-2012), San Sebastián ( 2005-2012), Andrés Bello (2009-2012) in Concepción. Full-time professor at the Catholic University of the Santísima Concepción (1999-2012) and San Sebastián University (2012 to the present). Master's Professor at the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (2009-2014), Universidad San Sebastián (2017-2022) and PhD at the Universidad de los Andes (2008 and 2019) and San Sebastián (2021-2022), being Director of Career of the Concepción headquarters (2018-2020).

    Teaching

    Professor of several undergraduate training courses for law students: Introduction to Law, Philosophical Foundations of Law, Philosophy of Law, Research Methodology and Professional Ethics. The areas of research developed directly linked to this teaching have been: normativist legal positivism, the doctrine of classical natural law, various current ethical and bioethical problems, and in the last decade, the Inter-American Human Rights System, in particular, the Inter-American Court. Several of these works have been used totally or partially as support notes for teaching.
