    The main research areas are emerging thermal and non-thermal technologies on bioactive components. In development: Bioactive components and interaction with probiotic microorganisms. Valorization of byproducts and characterization of natural products (bioactive and antioxidant components) and their application in nutrition.

Previously, he had participated as an Ad-Honorem Professor, in the Nutrition Course, Rafael Landívar University, Guatemala, in the supervision of the Supervised Professional Exercise -EPS- in the area of ​​Food Industry.

    Nutritionist graduated from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. With experience in Research, Innovation and Development for the formulation of new products (Kern's Food Industries). Master in Food Sciences and Engineering at the Universidad del Bío Bío (2016 – 2018) within the framework of scholarships awarded by the Chilean Agency for International Development Cooperation (AGCID). Candidate for a Doctorate in Food Engineering at the same university, entering the program in 2018. Evaluator of degree works for the Food Engineering career at the Universidad del Bio Bio.
