Architect, Master in Applied Sciences, and Doctor in “Art de bâtir et Urbanisme” from the Université Catholique de Louvain. Associate Professor and Researcher, her research areas include comfort and well-being, natural lighting, and the design of educational spaces. She has led projects such as Fondecyt Regular and the regional FIC "FutureEduSpace," funded by the Regional Government of Biobío. In 2018, she collaborated with the Ministry of Education on the new school infrastructure regulations. She has also worked on projects for the Ministry of Public Works and led international initiatives like "Healthy and Resilient Schools." Winner of the Municipal Award of Concepción in Applied Research.

Her undergraduate teaching focuses on courses in Sustainability and Environment, as well as Introduction to Lighting, at the School of Architecture in the Concepción campus.

Her research focuses on healthy and sustainable architecture for innovation in educational spaces. She leads FONDECYT projects aimed at improving comfort in Chilean schools through research, promoting environments that enhance student well-being and learning. Her areas of interest and experience in the formation of advanced human capital are linked to topics such as environmental comfort, natural lighting, innovation in the design of educational spaces, the integration of biophilic design, color, and neuroarchitecture, which contribute to a design centered on human well-being.
