Research interests
His research has revolved around the concept of constitutional supremacy and its scope, particularly in relation to the powers of the Judiciary. This has led him to delve deeper into the phenomenon of the judicialization of politics and the political dimension of the Constitution. Currently, his interests have been oriented to the structure of political decision and its consequences from the point of view of its judicial and political control.
Personal profile
He is a lawyer and has a doctorate dregree. Fellow of the Madison Program (Princeton University). Full professor at UANDES. He has held various university positions as Director of Studies; Secretary General; Vicepresident for Research and Postgraduate Studies. He was also elected as Constitutional Counselor for the 2023 constitutional process. He has been the IR for three FONDECYT projects; He has published four books and more than 30 scientific papers; He has served as a referee for numerous publications in scientific journals and an evaluator of the national postgraduate scholarship system, as well as the FONDECYT scientific competition system.

He teaches Constitutional Law in undergraduate program as wel as postgraduates programs
