    José Rivera has a solid curricular background, he is a Lawyer from the University of Chile, a Master of Law with a mention in Private Law, University of Chile, a Master's Degree in Civil Law, the Complutense University of Madrid and a Doctor in Civil Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. He worked, in his doctoral thesis, on the topic of the creditor's right of option in the event of contractual breach. On the other hand, regarding projects, scholarships and awards obtained by the applicant, the following can be mentioned: he obtained BecasChile 2010 to pursue a master's and doctorate abroad, a Seed Capital at the UGM in 2017, he obtained Outstanding Practice in 2006 and the UGM Scientific Production Award, in 2016.

    Teaching

    Civil Law Professor of Civil Law at the San Sebastián University. His current Hierarchy is that of Associate Professor (appointed by the UGM and the USS). He has taught undergraduate teaching at the universities of Chile, Los Andes, Alberto Hurtado, Gabriela Mistral, Talca, San Sebastián, among others. Likewise, he has taught postgraduate teaching at the universities of Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Alberto Hurtado, San Sebastián and Mayor.
