    Felipe Chávez-Bustamante completed his doctorate in Business Economics at Universidad del Desarrollo, Concepción, Chile. Before joining Universidad San Sebastián as a Research Professor, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Universidad Católica de Temuco, Temuco, Chile. His teaching experience also extends to other institutions, as Universidad Austral de Chile and Universidad Andrés Bello. In addition to his published research, Dr. Felipe Chávez-Bustamante has participated in several conferences and research initiatives, such as the International Conference on Modelling and Simulation in Engineering, Economics, and Management (2016), the Lima Summer School of Economics (2018), the Annual Meeting of the Chilean Economy Society (2021-2022), the National Meeting of the Chilean Innovation Researchers Network (2023), and the Meeting of the Chilean Society of Regional Studies (2023).

    Teaching

    His teaching experience extends to core courses in economics within business schools, including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Econometrics. Furthermore, he has mentored several undergraduate students through their research thesis projects and has led a Research Seminar course. These efforts aim to ground students in both the theoretical and applied aspects of business and economics, fostering a solid technical foundation while nurturing intuitive understanding.
