The lines of research are mainly focused on the philosophical and anthropological foundations of the principle of subsidiarity and its application in Chile, the crisis of our political system and new forms of political conflict.

Doctor in Philosophy from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Master in Philosophy from that same university, Master in Philosophy from Universidad de Chile , professor at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad San Sebastián. Visiting Fellow at the University of Notre Dame, USA, appointed by the Fulbfright Chair in Democracy and Human Development. He carried out a postdoctoral research at the Università di Roma, “Sapienza”. He has been co-author, editor and compiler of several books on Philosophy and political theory. Editor of the Complete Works of Jaime Guzmán Errázuriz.

Professor of the Philosophical Foundations of Law and Philosophy of Law, subjects that are addressed in the light of a Christian humanist anthropology, which serves as support for a holistic understanding of the social order, the role of the State, and lays the foundations for sources and horizons of Law and the common good.
