Professor of Spanish and certified Speech Pathologist from the University of Concepción, she obtained her doctorate from the Institute of Experimental Cognitive Psychology of the RWTH Aachen University (Germany). She currently works as a researcher and teacher at the Faculty of Dentistry and Rehabilitation Sciences for the School of Speech Therapy at the San Sebastián University. She has emerged as an interdisciplinary researcher who seeks to generate decentralized and innovative knowledge. She is the researcher responsible for a 2023 International Linking project funded by ANID, a 2023 research project funded by the Public Policy Institute of the San Sebastián University, an internal VRID 2022-2023 project of the San Sebastián University; a national collaboration with UCSC, UdeC and USM; research associated with Environmental Linkage projects and international collaborations with RWTH Aachen University and Cardiff University. She was a DAAD/Chile and DAAD program STIBET scholarship recipient
