His research lines focus on vocal therapy, social determinants of health, health promotion and prevention, access to healthcare services, and quality of life in vulnerable groups.

Arturo Flores Riquelme is a Speech-Language Pathologist from the University of Talca, holds a Ph.D. in Health, Disability, Dependency, and Well-being from the University of Murcia, and a Master’s degree in Vocal Intervention Strategies from the University of Development, as well as in Primary Health Care Management from Andrés Bello University. He is currently a faculty member and researcher at the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences at San Sebastián University. He is a member of the College of Speech-Language Pathologists A.G. and the Chilean Society of Speech-Language Pathology. His academic career includes teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at various universities, both nationally and internationally.

Su labor docente se enfoca en la evaluación, diagnóstico e intervención de la voz, abarcando cátedras, laboratorios y proyectos de investigación. Además, ha impartido cursos en gestión aplicada a la fonoaudiología, rehabilitación interdisciplinaria, rehabilitación con perspectiva de DDHH y seminario de investigación.
