She is a researcher at the Faculty of Education of the San Sebastián University. She has a Doctor in Education in the field of Mathematics Didactics, a Master in Mathematics Didactics and has a Master in Research in Mathematics and Science Didactics. She has been responsible researcher and/or alternate director of various ANID projects (FONDECYT initiation, FOVI, FONDEF).
Teaching
His undergraduate teaching is focused on mathematics didactics courses for initial teacher training, research methodology and graduate seminars. He teaches postgraduate teaching in the field of mathematics didactics.
Research interests
His research is focused on the incorporation of engineering and the use of technologies in early education (preschool and basic education), mainly in rural contexts. In the field of engineering, its focus of study is on the incorporation of engineering under the STEM methodology. In the field of technology, he focuses his study on incorporating robotics and artificial intelligence into the national curriculum. She has participated as a responsible researcher in various projects funded by ANID and directed projects with public funds from the Ministry of Education (Sumo first in the field).
