Research interests

Dr. Riveros' research interests are focused on morphological studies related to the implications of anatomical variations in the nervous system on entrapment syndromes. His findings have contributed to enhancing the knowledge used in the diagnosis and treatment of specialties such as neurosurgery, neurology, and traumatology. Currently, Dr. Riveros is working to determine the functionality of the communicating branches of the brachial plexus nerves. This research aims to provide background information to establish the appropriate nerve for autologous indirect neurorrhaphy. These efforts have resulted in scientific articles and presentations at national and international conferences, with a notable achievement being his appointment as the president of the I Latin American Congress of Clinical Morphology in 2023.
