Ana Calderón, PhD, is a psychologist and researcher who completed her undergraduate studies at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a postgraduate degree in focal psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Corporación Psicoterapéutica Salvador. At University College London, England, he completed a Master's degree in Psychoanalytic Theory, a Master's degree in Research Methods in Psychology, and a PhD in Psychoanalytic Studies. During his PhD he developed and validated the Adolescent Psychotherapy Q-set (APQ) under the supervision of Professors Mary Hepworth (formerly Target) and Nick Midgley. Ana has carried out research in both Chile and England

Teaching

He specializes in teaching research methods in psychology and quantitative data analysis. In addition, he has extensive experience as a guide for undergraduate and master's thesis.

Research interests

Ana Calderón's main line of research focuses on the process and outcome of psychotherapy for adolescents with moderate to severe depressive symptoms.
