    Dr. Alfredo Pereira has contributed to various fields of computational chemistry and data science, addressing critical challenges in health and environmental sciences. His research focuses on the rational design of polymers through molecular modeling, data-driven chemical synthesis, and AI-assisted drug discovery.

    Dr. Alfredo Pereira holds a degree in Bioinformatics Engineering and a Ph.D. in Science with a specialization in Research and Development of Bioactive Products from the University of Talca. He previously worked as a researcher and project engineer in the Nanobiotechnology Division at the Fraunhofer Chile Research Foundation. Currently, he serves as a faculty member in the School of Engineering, Architecture, and Design at Universidad San Sebastián.

    Dr. Alfredo Pereira has taught courses in various science and engineering disciplines at the undergraduate level, excelling in areas such as chemistry, statistics and programming. In addition, he has taught graduate courses focused on data science, including subjects such as Data Visualization Tools, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
