The mission of the School of Veterinary Medicine is to train professionals committed to the sustainable development of the territories, articulating scientific knowledge with social and environmental needs. Its work promotes an integral vision of the role of the veterinarian, capable of harmonizing socioeconomic progress with the conservation of nature and animal welfare, in coherence with the contemporary challenges faced by communities in terms of health, production and sustainability.
